Class election
Cast your second vote (Zweitstimme) in secret on your phone, just like in a real German federal election. When everyone has voted, we’ll see how many of the 630 seats in the Bundestag each party would win.
Enter vote counts
Type in how many votes each party got, for example from paper ballots. Leave the rest at 0.

A government needs a majority: at least 316 of 630 seats. Tap parties to combine them.
How seats are shared out: only parties with at least 5% of the votes win seats. The 630 seats are divided among them in proportion to their votes, using the Sainte-Laguë method that Germany uses. The SSW, the party of the Danish minority, is exempt from the 5% rule.
This is a simplified version of the real system: it only uses second votes, with no constituency (first) votes.
